The candidate should be BE (Electrical) with 7-14 years’ experience of maintenance/ project implementation in chemical industry; at least 4 years of which shall be in project implementation and management. Preference shall be given to candidates having the relevant experience in caustic soda industry.
The candidate shall be responsible for the day to day supervision of engineering and construction activities, quality control, generating purchase orders, and conducting periodical review meetings. He should be able to monitor the progress of project through project management software and reporting to the management. He should have good knowledge and experience of billing, item rate analysis and budget estimation. Knowledge of Autocad is preferred.
In addition to the above he will be responsible for operation/ maintenance of electrical equipment (switch yard/ rectifier/ transformers/ HT/LT switch gears, motors and other electrical equipment). He should be able to liaison with Government agencies (e.g. DGVCL, GETCO, Electrical inspectorate etc.) to fulfil statutory requirements.
The candidate should have good leadership, team management, result orientation, problem solving, team building skills and excellent communication skills. He should have the willingness to accept challenges, ability for delivering results within specified time & costs and the ability to deal with persons from diverse background and cultures.
The appointment shall be contractual and initially for a period of 3 years, which can be extended further depending upon the performance. The pay scale shall commensurate with qualification and experience. The starting CTC is Rs 9.4 lacs including 20% Variable pay
