Job Description

The candidate should be B E (Chemical) with 7-14 years’ experience of project management and chemical plant operation; at least 4 years which shall be in project implementation and management. Preference shall be given to candidates having the relevant experience in caustic soda industry.

The candidate shall be responsible for the overall monitoring of projects from cost, time, deliverables and risk. The job shall include reviewing the documents / drawings provided by the consultants / suppliers, HAZOP/SIL and model review. He shall liaison with stakeholders on an ongoing basis using professional softwares, monitor the work at site and shall be responsible for conducting periodical review meetings and flagging issues requiring Management attention. He shall take necessary steps in coordination with other managers and contractors for maintaining the desired progress of projects on all fronts. He/she should be able to coordinate engineering, procurement, construction pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. Knowledge of Autocad is preferred.

The candidate should have good leadership, team management, result orientation, problem solving, team building skills and excellent communication skills. He should have the willingness to accept challenges, ability for delivering results within specified time & costs and the ability to deal with persons from diverse background and cultures.

The appointment shall be contractual and initially for a period of 3 years, which can be extended further depending upon the performance. The pay scale shall commensurate with qualification and experience. The starting CTC is Rs 9.4 lacs including 20% Variable pay

Asst. Manager (Electrical)

Job Description

The candidate should be BE (Electrical) with 7-14 years’ experience of maintenance/ project implementation in chemical industry; at least 4 years of which shall be in project implementation and management. Preference shall be given to candidates having the relevant experience in caustic soda industry.

The candidate shall be responsible for the day to day supervision of engineering and construction activities, quality control, generating purchase orders, and conducting periodical review meetings. He should be able to monitor the progress of project through project management software and reporting to the management. He should have good knowledge and experience of billing, item rate analysis and budget estimation. Knowledge of Autocad is preferred.

In addition to the above he will be responsible for operation/ maintenance of electrical equipment (switch yard/ rectifier/ transformers/ HT/LT switch gears, motors and other electrical equipment). He should be able to liaison with Government agencies (e.g. DGVCL, GETCO, Electrical inspectorate etc.) to fulfil statutory requirements.

The candidate should be BE (instrumentation & control) with 7-14 years’ experience of maintenance/ project implementation in chemical industry; at least 4 years of which shall be in project implementation and management. Preference shall be given to candidates having the relevant experience in caustic soda industry.

The candidate shall be responsible for review/ check/ approve the Instrumentation engineering documents like technical specifications, P&ID, instrument data sheet, calculations, interlock logic diagrams, He shall participate in HAZOP/ SIL etc. and will be responsible for FAT/SAT. After commissioning of the plant he should be able to take responsibility of maintaining the instrumentation of the plant.

The candidate should be B E (Chemical/ Mechanical) with additional qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, especially those Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). He should have 7-14 years’ experience in procurement/ material management in chemical industry, preferably in Caustic Soda industry; at least 4 years which shall be in project procurement and management.

The candidate shall be responsible for the overall procurement of projects. He should be a good negotiator with proven skills in Networking, Organisation, Financial Analysis and Strategic Planning. He shall be well versed with Supply Chain Management procedures and Logistics & Supply Management softwares (Database Management, Inventory Management, Financial Analysis, Point of Sale, Procurement, Project Management, and Enterprise Resource Planning)

The candidate should be a graduate in commerce with CA/CMA, having minimum post qualification work experience of 3-5 years in medium to large industrial organisation. Knowledge of maintaining Books of Accounts in ERP environment, compilation and audit of annual accounts, project accounting, MIS and budgetary control, contract management, project finance and treasury management, Income tax and GST is essential.
